Last Thursday i took reina on a walk by the portneuf river. its nothin too grand, but its exciting enough for the two of us. we went with some friends of mine: Linda (from work), her hubby, her daughter Beth, and Beth's hubby Alex (both of which are friends of mine.) we all had so much fun. they were probably having fun because of how goofy i was being about reina getting into the river. But, hey, what is a mom to do when her baby starts to have fun adventures.
these were her first steps into any thing other than a bathtub. ha ha ha
She stepped on a stick and it popped up out of the water and it smacked her in the face:-( poor little girl. . . she has a muddy face. . . but its still cute as ever.
You can tell she is debating on how far she wants to go out into the river
And then she decides to turn back and return to the muddy land.
This was such a fun day. i was so excited that she got into the river. every dog needs to let loose and have some fun out in the great outdoors. she has webbed feet, why not put them to use. he he he. we are gonna go again soon. she likes getting out and walking outside.
